Eifman. August. St. Petersburg

“Love him or hate him, Mr. Eifman stimulates and provokes,” this is how The New York Times characterizes the incomparable creative method of the Company’s artistic leader.
Eifman Ballet will open its 50th season in early July with a series of performances in its home city (we are confident that audiences and guests of St. Petersburg have already saved the schedule we previously published). The shows will be dedicated to the choreographer’s anniversary. In the final month of summer, the Company will continue to present renowned productions from the modern Russian ballet repertoire at the Alexandrinsky Theatre. On August 6, dance connoisseurs will have a chance to see the choreographic psychodrama Anna Karenina. On August 7 and 8, the comedy ballet The Pygmalion Effect will be performed.
Tickets for the August shows are already available on our official website.
