Boris Eifman receives the International Kirill Lavrov Prize

Boris Eifman has been named a laureate of the International Kirill Lavrov Prize “For the Support and Promotion of Russian Culture”.

The award ceremony took place yesterday at the Tauride Palace.

The prize was established a year ago to mark the 100th anniversary of the birth of the outstanding actor, theatre and public figure, People’s Artist of the USSR Kirill Lavrov. It recognizes achievements in strengthening humanitarian ties, implementing landmark creative projects abroad, and preserving and developing the humanistic traditions of Russian culture.
