Dance Academy Theatre has been designed by the choreographer as the centre of aesthetic and professional education of the students of the Boris Eifman Dance Academy – the future universal artists – as well as thousands of young residents of St. Petersburg. It is expected that the stage will be used to show ballet productions and concert programmes for young spectators. It will also host festivals and competitions, in which children’s artistic groups from Russia and abroad, both professional and amateur, will participate.

The gala opening of the new city centre of the ballet art, was held on November 16, 2019 and became one of the principal events of the VIII St. Petersburg International Cultural Forum.
